Jordanian Bread Experience

No Jordanian meal is complete without freshly made bread and in this class we’ll teach you how to make our local favourite Arabic Flat Bread (Saj)

Saj bread is an unleavened flat bread which is typically baked on a dome shaped oven that looks like an upside down wok.

In this class your host will show you how to prepare the dough using local wheat flour, after which you will be trained on how to shape the dough and prepare it for baking. You will learn the techniques for baking the breads on the Saj and then it is just a matter of waiting a few minutes for the breads to bake before tasting.
